How it works

    A grumpy old vampire, a pirate ghost, your dog's spirit: describe it in a few sentences.

    Tap wake, then set your phone inside the carved pumpkin. It listens and answers on its own.

Questions

What do I need?
A phone (or tablet) with a browser, a carved pumpkin big enough to hold it, and ideally a power bank. For a loud street, a small Bluetooth speaker next to the pumpkin carries the voice much further.
How much talking do I get?
$5 buys about 2½ hours of lively back-and-forth. Only talking uses it up: silence is free, so a pumpkin waiting on the porch all night costs almost nothing. You can add more any time.
How long does the pass last?
It works until the end of November 5, for parties, trick-or-treat night and the days around Halloween. After that it stops; there is nothing to cancel.
Can I change its personality?
Yes, as often as you like. Write who it is, how it talks, and anything it should know (your street, your kids' names, the party theme). Changes take effect within seconds.
What voice does it use?
A deep, theatrical voice made for a pumpkin, with a little crypt echo. Your personality shapes how it talks: a pirate ghost sounds different from a grumpy vampire.
Is it OK for kids?
Yes. Whatever personality you give it, it stays family friendly: spooky jokes and dramatic laughs, never cruelty, gore or anything you'd have to explain later.
Do you record conversations?
No. Speech goes straight from your phone to OpenAI, which turns it into the pumpkin's replies. We don't store any of it; we only count how much talk time is used.
Can I use it on more than one phone?
Yes. After you pay you get a private link; open it on any phone to sign that phone in. The talk time is shared.
